Women's Cross Country Wins Thomas Invitational; Flanders Crosses Line in Second

WATERVILLE, Maine – The UMaine-Farmington women's cross country team finished first at the Thomas College Invitational on Friday afternoon. 

The Beavers won the event by 31 points as UMF finished with 20 points and Thomas finished with 51.

UMF finished the meet with nine of the top 10 runners, including Kaitlin Flanders who finished second with a 20:47 final time. Emma Pidden finished third with a time of 21:05 and Alisha Labbe finished fourth at the 21:36 mark.

UMaine-Farmington will compete in the NAC Championship on Sunday, November 2nd hosted by Castleton State College.
