STANDISH, Maine – The UMaine-Farmington women's cross country team finished third overall at the Saint Joseph's College Runnin' Monks Invitational Saturday afternoon.

Alisha Labbe, (23:00, 20th), Laura Pulito (23:01, 21st) and Emily Franklin (23:11, 23rd) crossed the line within a 11 second span of each other.

"We had a 1-5 pack time of 48 seconds. Every week they keep on getting stronger. This women's team hasn't stopped amazing me since day one of preseason. With a little more fine tuning they should see endless success come championship season," Staples added.
