Bangor, Maine – UMaine Farmington fell to Husson University on Tuesday night in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) action by a score of 2-1.
The setback makes the Beavers 2-4 overall and 1-1 in the NAC. The Eagles move to 3-3 overall and 2-0 in conference play.

How it Happened
The Eagles got on the board early, just nine minutes into the game with Leah Hibbad found the back of the net from about 12 yards out.
Fifteen minutes later, Hibbad found the back of the net for her second goal from the left corner to give the Eagles an early 2-0 lead.
The Beavers tightened up their defense and closed out the first half down 2-0. The second half started with more offensive pressure by the Beavers. McKenna Brodeur took a quick shot in the early going that was blocked by the Eagles defense.
In the 84th minute, Lydia Roy found the back of the net from the right corner, about 12 yards out to cut the lead to 2-1. The Eagles took one last shot in the final five minutes but Kiana Thompson was there to make the save and finish the game with a 2-1 loss.
The Beavers will head to UMaine-Presque Isle for a 1:00 pm start time.
