Beavers Score 14 Goals to get Past Thomas College

Waterville, Maine – UMaine-Farmington's women's lacrosse team breezed past Thomas College by a final score of 14-5 in non-conference action.

The Beavers tallied 11 draw controls to the Terriers 10 as UMF tallied 33 shots to Thomas College's 17.

UMF also notched 16 ground balls to Thomas 13 while the Beavers had 23 turnovers as Thomas had 33.


  • Isabella Monbouquette scored four goals for the Beavers with two ground balls, one draw control, and one caused turnover.
  • Kaya Backman scored three goals as Keilly Lynch scored two goals with five assists, two ground balls, six draw controls, and three caused turnovers.
  • Meredith Wheeler scored two goals for the Terriers as Samantha Griffin scored one goal with one caused turnover.
  • Tanasia Eldon scored one goal with one assist, two ground balls, four draw controls, and two caused turnovers.

The Beavers will be home tomorrow against Elms College at 12:00 PM in Waterville on the campus of Thomas College.
