Beavers Finish Off Thomas

Waterville, Maine -  Sierra Gilley and company led the UMaine-Farmington Beavers past Thomas College on Wednesday afternoon by a final score of 10-2 in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) action.


  • Sierra Gilley finished the day with three goals with one ground ball while Carly Raymond finished with two goals, six ground balls, seven draw controls and four caused turnovers.
  • Keilly Lynch also finished with two goals, six ground balls and five caused turnovers along with one goal from Samantha Cross and Isabella Monbouquette.
  • Cross added six ground balls and seven caused turnovers while Monbouquette finished with four ground balls, two draw controls and two caused turnovers.
  • Jenessa Talarico added a goal of her own with four ground balls.
  • Kimberly Banks scored both goals for the Terriers with one ground ball, and four caused turnovers.


  • The Beavers tallied 39 ground balls, forced 34 turnovers, took 32 shots and notched nine draw controls.
  • Thomas notched 23 ground balls, forced 27 turnovers, took 10 shots and finished the day with five draw controls.


The Beavers will host Colby-Sawyer on Saturday for a 4:00 PM start at Kents Hill.
