Waterville, Maine – UMaine Farmington tops the Mariners of Maine Maritime on Wednesday afternoon in a North Atlantic Conference matchup by a score of 10-1 that was played at Thomas College.

How it happened
UMF got on the board early in the opening three minutes of the game when Danielle Conway received a pass from Carly Raymond to finish the man up opportunity. Neither team could control the ball as the rain started to fall. Danielle Conway and Carly Raymond connected for another goal 12 minutes later to make the score 2-0.
30 seconds later, Carly Raymond scored a goal of her own with 15:12 left in the first half. Rhi Jackson got into the action three minutes later to score a goal of her own and gave Farmington the 4-0 lead.
Sierra Gilley also got into the action with a goal of her own, Jackson assisted on the play, which closed out the first half, Beavers lead 5-0.
Once again the Beavers got on the board early in the second half with a goal from Carly Raymond to make it 6-0. About 10 minutes later, Rhi Jackson scored again followed by Sierra Gilley scoring on a man up opportunity two minutes after Jackson scored.
A minute later, Alaina Shorey scored a goal of her own to make the score 9-0 with about 14 minutes left in the game. Eight minutes later, Nicole Schofield also got into the action with a goal to make it 10-0 but the Mariners wouldn't go down without a fight as Madison Barry scored a goal.
The Beavers went on to win 10-0.
