Farmington, Maine - UMaine-Farmington's women's basketball team will face off with NVU-Johnson in the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) quarterfinals on Saturday in Farmington, Maine.

In the first meeting, the Beavers traveled to NVU-Johnson on January 11th for a 67-46 win. Page Brown paced the Beavers, tying the game-high in scoring with 14 points. She also finished with a game-high 11 rebounds, giving her a double-double. McKenna Brodeur also finished with 14 points for the Beavers, shooting 7-13 from the floor. Filling up the stat sheet, she also finished with nine rebounds, four assists, two steals, and two blocks. Kiana Johnson led the Badgers with 11 points, shooting 5-13 from the field. Halie Tillotson and Amorette Johnson both pitched in with seven points each. In the second meeting, the Beavers hosted NVU-Johnson on January 17th for a 68-60 win. Page Brown led the way with a double-double, tallying 15 points and 10 rebounds. Brown made a living on the offensive glass, recording a game-high six offensive rebounds. Tia Day had a strong showing as well, racking up 14 points and shooting 4-6 from the three-point line. Alex Bessey added 12 points for the Beavers. Hallie Tillotson and Ellery Kiefer paced the Badgers attack with 14 points each. Klaire Ware had 11 off the bench for the Badgers, going 2-4 from three-point range.
The Beavers will rely on the playmaking and scoring ability of Alex Bessey to pace their offense. The Beavers will also expect Mckenna Brodeur to own the paint and spark the Beavers offense and transition game with her strength and court vision. NVU-Johnson will rely on Ellery Kiefer and Kianna Johnson's scoring and rebounding ability.
