Farmington, ME – The Beavers returned to Dearborn Gymnasium on Friday for a matchup against the Northern Vermont-Johnson Badgers. It was a back and forth contest, but with a strong second half, the Beavers earned the win 68-60.
In the Box:
- Page Brown led the way with her fourth double-double of the season, 15 points and 10 rebounds. Brown made a living on the offensive glass, recording a game-high six offensive rebounds.
- Tia Day had a strong showing as well, racking up 14 points and shooting 4-6 from the three-point line. Day also had three rebounds and two steals.
- Alex Bessey finished with 12 points for the Beavers. Bessey also tied the game-high with four assists, making solid passes all over the court.
- Hallie Tillotson and Ellery Kiefer paced the Badgers attack with 14 points each. Klaire Ware had 11 off the bench for the Badgers, going 2-4 from three-point range.
The Beavers will look to sweep the season series against their other NAC Vermont foe, the University of Northern Vermont-Lyndon Hornets. Tip-off is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. tomorrow, January 18th, at Dearborn Gymnasium.
