Lewiston, Maine – UMaine-Farmington's women's basketball team battled Bates College on Thursday night in a game that has been rescheduled twice due to weather.

BY THE NUMBERS

  • The Beavers shot 29.8% from the floor (17-57), 18.2% from three-point land and 63.3% at the free throw line (7-11) while notching 24 rebounds, 11 assists, and three blocks on the night.
  • The Bobcats shot 47.3% in the game (35-74), 51.6% from behind the arc (16-31) and 64.3% at the charity stripe (9-14) while tallying 57 rebounds, 22 assists, 11 steals with seven blocks.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • McKenna Brodeur led the Beavers with 11 points on 5-10 shooting from the floor with one rebound and two blocks while Morgan Crocker added 10 points.
  • Haley Felkel and Makayla Wilson each notched three rebounds as Paige Carter finished with six rebounds and six points.
  • Meredith Melendy led all scorers with 18 points on 5-9 shooting with five three-pointers and three free throws while Mia Roy added 15 points with one rebound and three assists.
  • Julia Middlebrook finished with 15 points with five rebounds, six assists, three steals one block as Melanie Binkhorst led the Bobcats with 12 rebounds with three assists and 14 points.
