Beavers Get Past UMPI to Close Out Semester

Farmington, Maine – UMaine-Farmington women's basketball team escaped the University of Maine at Presque Isle by a final score of 57-51 on Sunday afternoon.


  • Jenessa Talarico led the Beavers in scoring with 15 points on 4-10 from floor and 5-5 at the free throw line to go with four rebounds, one assist and two steals.
  • Sara Lamb finished with 14 points on 4-8 from the floor with two threes and four free throws.
  • Morgan Crocker added 10 points while Paige Carter notched 17 rebounds.
  • Rhylee Wright finished with game-high 22 points on 8-23 from the floor with four free throws and 11 rebounds.
  • Kendra Silvers added 10 points on 5-10 from the floor.


  • The Beavers shot 29% from the floor (18-62), 28.6% from three-point land and 78.9% at the free throw line. UMF added 51 rebounds, 10 assists, seven steals and two blocks.
  • The Owls shot 31.3% (20-64) from the floor, 26.8% from behind the arc and 50% from the charity strike. UMPI added 41 rebounds, six assists, nine steals and one blocks.

The Beavers will be on the road after the holiday break when they travel to Colby-Sawyer for a 5:30 PM start time.
