NEW LONDON, N.H. -- The University of Maine at Farmington women's basketball team headed into the holiday break with a 1-3 North Atlantic Conference record as the Beavers lost to Colby-Sawyer College 74-51 this afternoon at Hogan Sports Center.
The Beavers (2-7 overall) are off until Jan. 6 when they are slated to host Johnson State College at 7:30 p.m. The Chargers improved to 8-2 overall and 4-0 in the NAC.
Colby-Sawyer's Taylor DeSanty (North Adams, Mass.) led all scorers with 23 points on 10-19 shooting. Cailin Bullett (Millbury, Mass.) added 19 points and a game-high nine assists. Stephanie Larpenter (Sunapee, N.H.) had eight points in 10 minutes off the bench.
