Farmington took nearly nine minutes to net their first field goal and went through another dry stretch over the final 6:30 of the opening half as the Mariners took a 32-17 halftime lead. MMA opened the game with an 11-1 run over the first three minutes and the Beavers did not get a basket until Kelsey Graffam (Falmouth, Maine) scored with 11:07 left in the half to cut the Marinerlead to 14-4. Leading 21-13, the Mariners outscored Farmington 11-4 over the final 6:31 of the frame to enter intermission with a 15-point cushion.

Leading 39-21 with 13:11 to play, the Mariners dismissed any possibility of a Farmington rally with nine straight points over the next four minutes for a 48-21 command and the Beavers went cold from the floor for more than 10 minute as MMA was on its way to a 56-34 win.
