Beavers Finish the Season on Top of the Reynolds Division

 

Farmington, Maine – UMaine-Farmington women's alpine team finished the year on top of the Reynolds Division with a total of 15 points on the year after taking first place in six races in the division. The Beavers also won the Ricker Cup with a total of 36 points, the Ricker Cup is awarded to the team with the best-combined men and women's team scores.

UMF was led by Alexa Pelletier with a total of 576 points for a second-place finish in the division. Pelletier's best result was on February 3rd at Shawnee Peak with a first-place finish. Jenny Hancock followed, finishing eighth in the division with a total of 265 points. Hancock's best result coming on February 16th at Titcomb Mountain with a third-place finish.

Erin Guilmet rounded out the top three Farmington women finishing 11th in the division with 246 points. Guilmet best result was on January 23rd at Black Mountain with a fifth-place finish. Alicia Gaiero closed out the results for the Beavers after finishing in 13th place in the division with 195 points. Gaiero best results were on January 27th at Sugarloaf with a ninth-place finish.
