Titcomb Mountain – UMaine-Farmington women's alpine took first place in back to back days this weekend with a first-place finish at Titcomb Mountain and a first place finish at Sugarloaf.
Saturday – Titcomb
Alexa Pelletier took second place overall with a time of 42:33 in run one and a time of 42:39 in run two for a total time of 1:24.72. Erin Guilmet took seventh overall with a total time of 1:28.08 as Jennifer Hancock took 16th place with a time of 1:36.87.
"Women's team placed 2nd overall as a team and gained a 1st in regional scoring place points. This lengthened their lead for regional scoring to hold first place. Women hold strong in 2nd place for overall conference standings" said coach Willihan.
Sunday – Sugarloaf
The Beaves took first place with a total time of 6:33.23 with Alexa Pelletier leading the way with a total time of 2:03.77 for a first-place finish. Alicia Gaiero took ninth place with a time of 2:14.41 as Jennifer Hancock finished with a time of 2:15.05 for a ninth place finish.
Coach Willihan said "Women's program stuck to their guns and skied their game, leading them to the overall win and regional scoring 1st place point. Women had a stellar day, with 5 women in the top 15! Congrats!"
