Women's Alpine Takes Second-Place at Titcomb
Titcomb, Mt. - UMF women finished the regular season on Saturday with a second-place finish.  The women's team tied for second place overall for the season. 
this marks a strong effort by the women to close the season with strength and dedication to skiing to their potential.
 
During the first race freshman, Brianna Marquis suffered a hand injury that took her out of competition for the rest of the day.  The women rallied together to close the gap on the field to string together strong top 5 finishes.  The women were led by freshman Jenny Hancock placing 5th overall.  Senior and newcomer Sandy Mait finished 2nd for the women.  Rounding out the top 3 scoring women was junior Samantha Feinberg.
 
The women worked hard this season but fell short to qualify for the ECSC Eastern Championship, however qualified individual athletes to ECSC Eastern Championship.  Brianna Marquis led the division standings for the individual rankings. Given her injury, she will not compete at the ECSC Championship.  Freshman Jenny Hancock will advance to ECSC Championship on February 24th and 25th at West Mountain NY.
