Nordic Ski Team Wraps Up USCSA Nationals; Ramsey Selected as First Team All-American

BEND, Ore. – The University of Maine at Farmington Nordic Ski Team wrapped up the season today at the United States Collegiate Ski and Snowboard Association National Championship this afternoon at Mt. Bachelor.

Emily Ramsey saw another top ten finish today. Ramsey placed sixth in the Ladies 15k Skate with a combined time of 44:03.8.  Ramsey finished second among schools on the east coast.

Alisha Labbe came in 29th place with a time of 52:06.7 and Ellie Pinto rounded out UMF's skiers in 40th after crossing the line at the 1:04:32.5 mark. Wyoming's Elise Sulser was crowned with the title after posting a 41:06.4 total time.

In the Men's 15k Skate, Bryce Neal led the Beavers after placing 43rd (47:04.4) and Joshua Richards followed in 45th (53:28.9).

Ramsey also earned a First Team All-American selection for her fourth place finish in the Female Freestyle Skate on Wednesday.
