Rose and Berthiaume finish 1-2 in Titcomb Mtn. Dual Slalom

WEST FARMINGTON, Maine – University of Maine at Farmington junior Alex Rose and senior David Berthiaume finished first and second in UMF's home event, the Reynolds Division Dual Slalom held Saturday at Titcomb Mountain.

Rose posted a combined time of 56.98 to finish first of all the skiers in the event, which had 32 skiers in both the "A" and "B" classes finish runs. Berthiaume posted a combined time of 58.82.

In the women's races, Marisa Hanning was the top UMaine-Farmington finisher with a combined time of 1:11.90. She was eighth out of the 19 competitors who completed two runs, but she was third among the USCSA "A" skiers in the event.
