Henniker, N.H. – UMaine-Farmington dropped two games to New England College on Sunday, game one finished 6-1 with a 2-1 loss in game two in Henniker, N.H. in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) action.

Game One (L, 6-1)


  •  Five Beavers recorded hits on the day, Leah Stevens, Kayleigh Oberg, Margaret Fogarty, Callie Hammer and Amber Grady each notched a hit.
  • Kailyn Hill went four innings, giving up six hits, five runs with two walks and a strikeout. Erika Whitman went two innings, giving up three hits, one run with one strikeout.
  • Shawnie Clark went 2-3 with two runs while Destiny Helmadach went 2-3 with two RBI's.
  • Taylor Barbour went seven strong innings for the Pilgrims, giving up five hits, one run with eight strikeouts.

Game Two (L, 2-1)

  • Leah Stevens, Kayleigh Oberg, Callie Hammer, Melissa Veitch and Alyssa Dillan each tallied a hit on the day.
  • Dillan went 1-3 with an RBI while Brianna McGrath notched two walks.
  • Erika Whitman started on the mound, going one inning and giving up a run. McGrath finished the game, giving up two hits and striking out two.
  • Alexa Scribner went 2-3 for the Pilgrims while Shawnie Clark and Joslyn Gallagher each tallied a hit.
  • Emily Farone went all seven innings, giving up five hits, one run, walked four and strikeout four.
