Bates College took both games of a non-conference doubleheader at Prescott Field with a, 6-3, win in the first game and, 13-3, in the second game. -
Bond Drives in the Game-Winning Run in Castleton Doubleheader Split
April 25, 2015FARMINGTON, Maine – University of Maine at Farmington (5-21, 2-10) junior Meryl Bond (Jefferson, Maine) produced a pair of hits to break up a perfect game and drive home the eventual game-winning run in a North Atlantic Conference doubleheader split with Castleton State College (17-10, 8-2). The Spartans silenced UMF in game one, 11-0, but the Beavers bounced back in the second game and held on for the, 1-0, win. -
NEC Overtakes UMF in Late Innings for Doubleheader Sweep
April 24, 2015FARMINGTON, Maine – The University of Maine at Farmington softball team (4-20, 1-9) showed a lot of heart on Friday afternoon by coming back twice in a doubleheader with New England College, but the Pilgrims took the lead late in the game for the sweep. NEC scored three runs in each contest and took game one, 3-2, and then, 3-1, in the nightcap. -
USM Takes Non-Conference Doubleheader from UMF
April 23, 2015GORHAM, Maine – The University of Maine at Farmington softball team (4-18) were searching for a key hit on Thursday, but the University of Southern Maine was able to steal both games of a non-conference doubleheader at Towers Field. USM held on for a, 1-0, in round one and then silenced UMF in round two, 9-0. -
Bowdoin Takes Two From Softball in Non-Conference Action
April 19, 2015BRUNSWICK, Maine – The University of Maine at Farmington softball team fell to Bowdoin College on Sunday in the both games of a non-conference doubleheader at Pickard Field. UMF held an early lead in the first game but lost, 13-1, before falling in game two, 10-0. -

The Eagles blanked the Beavers, 11-0, in game one and, 6-1, in game two in conference action at O’Keefe FIled on Wednesday afternoon. -
