Farmington, Maine – UMaine-Farmington's men's soccer team scored two in the second half for a 2-0 victory over SUNY Canton on Saturday afternoon in North Atlantic Conference action on senior day.
- With the win, the Beavers move to 8-7 overall and 2-4 in the NAC while the Kangaroos fall to 6-7-2 overall and 4-4 in NAC play.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Hunter Michaud scored the first goal on a diving header off a Jon Randolph assist to give the Beavers the 1-0 lead in the opening 15 minutes of the second half.
- Andrew Longhurst scored the second goal on a free-kick to give the Beavers a 2-0 lead.
- Jonah Sautter made three saves in the shutout victory as Dawson Pellerin made three saves on five shots for the Kangaroos.
The Beavers will be at Northern Vermont-Johnson on Saturday, October 26th for the 1:00 PM start time.
