Beavers Close out the Year at Colby-Sawyer

New London, N.H. – UMaine-Farmington closes out the regular season with a 1-0 loss at Colby-Sawyer on Sunday in the North Atlantic Conference.


The Chargers outshot the Beavers 17-5 while the Beavers keeper, Matt Wilson (6-8) made four saves while Shane Sacks (8-2) made two saves. The Chargers had 14 corner kicks while the Beavers had three.


Zach Elmore scored his first goal of the year after Denali Sexton crossed one from the left side and Elmore beat the keeper to the right. UMF had a few chances but the keeper made the save each time.

The Beavers finish out the year with an 8-9 overall record and 3-6 in the NAC while the Chargers finish with a 10-5 overall record and 8-1 in the NAC.
