Beavers Head to Wyoming for USCSA Nationals

Farmington, Maine – UMaine-Farmington's snow sports teams head to Snow King Mountain in Wyoming for the US Collegiate Ski and Snowboard National Championships (USCSA) on March 11th – 16th.

Connor Marland, Jordan Fried, Tom Wing, and Isaiah Reid will represent the Nordic team. On Tuesday, the Beavers will start will a 7.5 Classic followed by a freestyle sprint on the 13th. On March 15th, the Nordic team will be back for a 15K freestyle followed by a classic team sprint on the 16th.

Whitney LeMay, Sam Schreff, and Connor Dunn will represent the Snowboard and Freeride teams. Connor Dunn will get the Beavers started on Tuesday, March 12th with a boardercross race while Whitney LeMay will race on Wednesday in a boardercross race. Sam Schreff will participate in the rail jam on Wednesday as well.

On, Thursday, March 14th, Dunn and LeMay will race in the snowboard slalom followed by Schreff participating in the slopestyle. The Beavers will close out Nationals on Saturday with Dunn and LeMay racing in the snowboard giant slalom.
