Titcomb Mountain – UMaine-Farmington men's alpine team took first place on Saturday with a final time of 3:50.55 while taking second place on Sunday at Sugarloaf on Sunday.
Saturday – Titcomb Mountain
Taylor Davis led the Beavers with a total time of 1:15.83 after posting a 37.40 in run one and a 38.43 in run two. Kyle Farrington took third place overall with a total time of 1:16.55 as Jedediah Stevens took eight place overall with a time of 38.71 in run one and a time of a 39.46 in run two for a total time of 1:18.17.
"Mens team connected with 2 on the podium! Men walked away with the overall team win and gained a 1st in regional scoring place points. Men also skied their way to 5 in the top 15 for the day!" said coach Willihan.
Sunday – Sugarloaf
The Beavers took second place on the day with a total time of 5:47.01 with Kyle Farrington leading the way with a fourth-place finish and a time of 1:54.43. Zachary Berliner took seventh overall with a total time of 1:55.80 as Jedediah Stevens took ninth place with a time of 1:56.78.
Coach Willihan said "Men battled with stiff competition to finish 2nd overall and gain a second in regional scoring place point. The men were able to place 3 men in the top 10. Men made a great move from 3rd to 2nd in overall conference team standings this weekend. Great job men".
