GORHAM, Maine - University of Maine at Farmington golf team finished in seventh place at the USM Fall Classic this weekend at the Gorham County Club.
UMF finished in seventh place in the eight-team field. Southern Maine took the Classic after shooting 607 in the two-day tournament while UMass-Dartmouth took third place with 616 shots. Bowdoin finished in fourth as Saint Joseph's College of Maine took fifth. UNE took sixth followed by Southern Maine's second team in seventh. Farmington finished with 656 shots and Castleton closed it out with 676 shots.
Senior Eric Aguiar once again led the Beavers carding an eight-over-par 80 to finish in a tie for 20th place with a total of 160. Junior classmates Justin Rodrigue is tied for 24th after shooting a 79 on the day for a total of 162 as Matt Pelletier shot an 82 on the day. Charles DeHaas and Daniel Mickiewicz finished 38th and 39th on the day.
