The Beavers then go on the road for non-conference games against Wellesley (Sept. 9th), Southern Maine (Sept. 13th), Bates (Sept. 16th), and Wheelock. (Sept. 17th)

Conference play starts on Saturday, Sept. 23rd when the Beavers host Thomas College. Followed by a midweek non-conference trip to Saint Joseph's on Sept. 26th. The team returns home for a conference game against Castleton on Saturday, Sept. 30th.

The schedule in October doesn't get any easier as the Beavers take trips to Bowdoin (Oct. 4th), and Colby (Oct. 11th). In the middle of these two games is a big conference home game against New England College on Saturday, Oct. 7th. The Beavers have two big conference road games to finish the year when they take on Colby-Sawyer (Oct. 14th), and Husson (Oct. 21st).

The 2016 North Atlantic Conference champions return NAC player of the year Emmah Spahr who scored 19 goals in the 2016 season, as well as Carly Raymond who was the teams second leading scorer with 10 goals. All-Conference defender Lee-Anne Greenleaf is also returning to the pitch to help lead the defense.

The top four teams in the NAC East Division advance to the postseason tournament, with the semifinals taking place Wednesday, Oct. 25th, and the finals set for Saturday, Oct. 28th. The winner of the NAC East Tournament will take on the winner of the NAC West, made up of schools from the NEAC, in the crossover game to determine the recipient of the automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament.
