Henniker, N.H. – UMaine-Farmington fell to New England College on Sunday afternoon by a final score of 8-6. The Beavers were scheduled to play a doubleheader but game two has been postponed due to weather in the area of New England College.

Game One (L, 8-6)

  • Ryan Pratt started on the mound for the Beavers, going 3.1 innings, giving up seven hits and six earned runs with four walks and three strikeouts. Justin Rodrigue went 2.2 innings, giving up two hits with one strikeout.
  • Jimmy Parks went 2-4 with one RBI and one run while Riley Bartell went 1-4 with a run.
  • Chase Malloy went 1-3 with a walk and two runs as Riley Chickering went 1-3 with an RBI and two runs. Kevin Carter and Jake Bessey rounded out the hitting for the Beavers.
  • Jameson Carey went seven innings for the Pilgrims, giving up seven hits, five earned runs with four walks and seven strikeouts.
  • Justin Carey went 1-3 with three RBI's and two runs with a home run while Manuel Andujar went 1-2 with a solo home run.
  • Manuel Alejandro went 1-3 with two RBI's as Luis Atiles went 3-4 with two runs.


The Beavers host Lyndon St. tomorrow afternoon for a doubleheader starting at 1:00 PM
