Waterville, Maine – UMaine-Farmington's baseball team has clutch performance on the mound by Ryan Pratt and Gavin Arsenault in a doubleheader sweep over Thomas College on Wednesday night.

Game One (W, 4-0)

  • Sophomore, Ryan Pratt earns first career complete game shutout after throwing seven innings, giving up three hits and striking out four.
  • Chase Malloy went 1-3 with a two-run home run to give him two RBI's on the day while Jimmy Parks went 2-3 with an RBI.
  • Nick Attaliades-Ryan went 2-3 while Taylor Lockhart went 1-3 with a run.
  • Jake Bessey went 1-3 with an RBI and a run.
  • Alex Curtis, John Villanueva, and Darren Kelly each tallied a hit for the Terriers while Dominic Esposito threw three innings, giving up seven hits and four earned runs.
  • Ryan Scepansky went the next three innings, giving up one run and striking out three.

Game Two (W, 6-2)

  • Nate Pushard went 1-3 for the Beavers with two RBI's while Jimmy Parks went 1-4 with two runs.
  • Chase Malloy went 1-4 while Jake Bessey went 1-3 with a run.
  • Gavin Arsenault went seven strong innings for the Beavers, giving up five hits and two earned runs with four strikeouts.
  • Tyler Gee went 1-2 for the Terriers with two RBI's while Dominic Esposito went 1-2 with a run.
  • Roberto Duran, Hank Vinall, and Jacob Keenan each tallied a hit for Thomas while Cody Cousins went six innings, giving up four hits and six runs with six strikeouts.
