FARMINGTON, MAINE – UMaine Farmington's Head Soccer Coaches Molly Wilkie & Nate Kronewetter have announced the dates for the 2018 Summer Camp, June 25th - June 29th.
Welcome to the 2018 University of Maine at Farmington Summer Soccer Camp. We are pleased and excited to extend to you an invitation to participate in our programs offered this year. These camps are co-ed with an emphasis on player development and intended for all skill levels. Our primary focus for each camp is improving individual skill proficiency while having fun in a positive learning environment. Our staff is comprised of players and coaches from the University of Maine Farmington men's and women's soccer teams and outstanding college, high school, and youth soccer coaches.
The half-day camp focuses on players having fun while learning basic skills in an atmosphere that builds self-confidence and teaches good sportsmanship. The curriculum will encourage the development of the youth soccer player. A variety of games will be used to teach ball control and small group interaction. Skill development, fun, and enthusiasm are shared throughout the week by coaches and players alike!
The full-day camp focuses on player development. The curriculum is intended for the youth player who wants to go beyond basic skills training. Players will be exposed to advanced technical and tactical skills training as well as position play. During this week of camp, the coaching staff will prepare the youth player with the knowledge and experience needed for their competitive season.
