Farmington, Maine – UMaine Farmington women's soccer team lost to Saint Joseph's College of Maine today by a score of 3-0 in non-conference action on Sunday afternoon.

- The Monks took a total of 23 shots, 13 in the first half and 10 in the second half while the Beavers took a total of 12.
- Kiana Thompson made 13 saves on the day while Brooke Troup and Madi Day combined for six saves.
- The Monks had a total of six corner kicks to Farmington's two while St. Joseph's had 13 fouls.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Monks got the board early at the 11:21 – minute mark when Haley DaGraca scored her first goal of the year. Colleen Sheehan was given the assist on the play after she passed the ball through the middle and DaGraca beat the keeper to the right side.
At the 32:29 mark, Brenna Smith scored her first goal of the season to give the monks a 2-0 lead.
Early in the second half, the Monks scored their third goal of the game when Colleen Sheehan received a pass from Sarah Comtois and found the back of the net.
The Beavers will start conference play on Saturday when Lyndon St. will come to Leib Field.
