The University of Maine at Farmington men's and women's cross country program has released their schedule for the upcoming 2017 season.
The season starts with the UMF Invitational which is at Mt. Blue High School on Saturday, September 2nd.
Two weekends later the Beavers travel to UMASS-Dartmouth on Saturday, September 16th. After that on Saturday, September 30th the Beavers take a trip to Bowdoin for the Bowdoin Invitational.
The Beavers have a busy weekend to start October as on Friday, October 6th they race in the Colby Relays and then follow that up with a trip on Saturday, October 7th with a trip to St Joseph's for the St Joseph's Invitational.
The team will have one week to rest up before returning to action for the Maine State Championship on Saturday, October 14th where all the DIII State of Maine teams will compete against each other to determine the best team in the state of Maine.
Following two weekends of rest, the Beavers will host the NAC Championship at Mt. Blue High School on Saturday, October 28th. This will be an important event for the team to host such a big event. After this, the team will participate in a NCAA Regional on Saturday, November 11th.
The men's team returns 1st Team All-Conference runner Robert Hollis. The women will return 2nd Team All-Conference selection, Hannah Emery.
