BRUNSWICK, Maine- University of Maine at Farmington men's cross country team finshed in fifth place on Saturday afternoon at the Bowdoin Invitational.
Robbie Hollis (Auburn, Maine/ Edward Little) was the Beavers top scorer crossing the line in 15th place with a time of 27:19.7. Connor Wagner (Bangor, Maine/John Bapst) placed 19th with a time of 27:34.1, just one spot ahead of Abdi Hassan (Auburn,Maine/Edward Little), who finished at 27.36.0. Yussuf Adow (Auburn, Maine/Edward Little) finished 38th at 29:15.6 and David Doering (Portland,Maine/ Deering) rounded out UMF's scoring in 44th place at 29:36.5
The team came in fifth place out of eight teams in the race. UMF recorded a score of 117 trailing forth place Endicott by 18 points. Host Bowdoin won the event with 21 points.
UMaine-Farmington will race again on October 1st at the Colby Invitational.
