BOSTON, Mass. -- The University of Maine at Farmington men's cross country squad finished 18th at the Codfish Bowl in Franklin Park today.
Bates College won the event with 49 points followed by Boston University (77) and Stonehill College (86). The Beavers totaled 543 points for their 18th-place finish out of 26 teams. Results
Colin Cundy (Harpswell, Maine) posted the best time for UMF at 29:05 on the 8K course, good for 119th place. Cundy was followed by Jackson Fortin (Jefferson, Maine) at 149th in 29:50, Jeremiah Roper (Bangor, Maine) at 163rd in 30:23, Greg O'Connor (South China, Maine) at 213th in 31:57 and Kevin Lind (Augusta, Maine) at 230th in 32:45.
Rich Peters of BU took the individual win at 25:11.
UMF is slated to compete at the Runnin' Monks Inivitational at Saint Joseph's College of Maine on Oct. 8.
