Farmington, Maine - The University of Maine-Farmington men's soccer team and head coach Nathan Kronewetter have announced the 2018 schedule, starting with two home games in their opening weekend hosting Wentworth and Becker on September 1-2. UMF will play a tough schedule which includes several different teams from the 2017 season and a revamped North Atlantic Conference schedule.
After their season-opening weekend, the Beavers travel to nearby Lewiston, ME to play Bates College (September 5) before returning to Leib Field and hosting Southern Maine (September 8), Unity College (September 12) and North Atlantic Conference foes Maine Maritime (September 15). The Beaver's second conference game in September sees UMF heading to Bangor, ME to face Husson (September 22) before heading home to host Maine Machias (September 25), NAC rivals Thomas College (September 29) and Middlebury (September 30).
UMF starts the month of October on the road playing U. of New England (October 3) before heading home for two games versus newly added NAC member SUNY Canton (October 6) and Maine Fort Kent (October 9). The Beavers head on the road for three straight games playing conference member Northern Vermont-Johnson (October 13), Castleton (October 14) and NAC member Maine Presque Isle (October 20). UMF concludes their 2018 regular season conference play hosting Northern Vermont-Lyndon on October 23.
