Golf Team Stands Seventh After Day One of Bowdoin Invitational

BRUNSWICK. Me – University of Maine at Farmington Golf finished seventh on Day one of the Bowdoin Invitational at the Brunswick Golf Club on Saturday afternoon.  Day two will take place on Sunday.

Senior Gavin Brickley lead the Beavers shooting a team low 79 (40, 39), tying for 11th individually and only seven shots behind the leader.  Junior Eric Aguiar shot an 80 (40, 40) that puts him in a tie for 17th for the individual medal.  Teammate senior Mike Richard finished with an 81 (41, 40) and senior Trevor Hisler came in with an 84 (44, 40) to round out the scoring for UMF.

In 2016, UMF finished last in the two-day tournament (11th out of 11).
