Farmington, Maine - The University of Maine-Farmington field hockey team and head coach Cyndi Pratt have announced the 2018 schedule, starting with a tournament in their opening weekend at Smith College on September 1-2. UMF will play a 13 game schedule looking to repeat their success from past seasons.
After their season-opening weekend, the Beavers will return home to play Southern Maine (September 5th) before heading back out on the road to face Wellesley (September 8th). The Beavers then have a break before playing at Colby (September 18th) and at conference rival Husson (September 22nd). The Beavers finish the month of September at home with a game against another conference rival Thomas (September 28th).
UMF starts the month of October on the road playing three non-conference games against Bowdoin (October 3), Colby-Sawyer (October 7th), and Bates (October 9th). They return to conference play on October 13th when they travel to play another game against rival Thomas. The Beavers finish the season at home with a conference game against Husson (October 17th), and a non-conference game against St Joseph's. (October 20th)
