GENERAL INFORMATION

The UMF summer soccer camp is co-ed with an emphasis on player development. Our primary focus for each camp is improving individual skill proficiency while having fun in a positive learning environment.

Our staff is comprised of players and coaches from the University of Maine Farmington men’s and women’s soccer teams and outstanding college, high school, and youth soccer coaches.

WHO CAN COME TO CAMP

Camp is open to all skill levels. You don’t need to have played soccer before to attend this camp.

Campers will be placed in groups according to age and ability, making the experience both challenging and fun for players at every level.

FULL-DAY CAMP

The full day camp focuses on player development. The curriculum is intended for the youth player (ages 8-18) who wants to go beyond basic skills training. Players will be exposed to advanced technical and tactical skills training as well as position play. During this week of camp, the coaching staff will prepare the youth player with the knowledge and experience needed for their competitive season.

HALF-DAY CAMP

The half-day camp focuses on players having fun
 while learning basic skills in an atmosphere that builds self-confidence and teaches good sportsmanship. The curriculum will encourage the development of the youth soccer player (ages 5-7). A variety of games will be used to teach ball control and small group interaction. Skill development, fun, and enthusiasm are shared throughout the week by coaches and players alike!
