Gavin Brickley Nominated for NAC Man of the Year

Gavin Brickley (Holderness, N.H.) - UMaine-Farmington, Men's Golf

Brikley competed on the Beavers men's golf squad throughout his undergraduate career, serving as captain for three seasons. He tallied 17 top-10 finishes and eight top-five finishes including his best finish of second this past season at the Thomas Invitational. Impressively, he double majored in Business Psychology and Political Science, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and will be pursuing his graduate degree at the University of New Hampshire School of Law starting in the fall of 2018. He earned the Academic Achievement Scholarship and the Chompers Choice Scholarship and was named to the UMF High Honors Dean's List six times. Brickley was also admitted into Pi Sigma Alpha and honored on the NAC Fall All-Academic for three seasons. On campus, he was involved with the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and the UMF Student Senate, while also completing a Legal Internship at Franklin County's District Attorney's Office and at Deachman and Cowie, P.A and served as a Supplemental Instruction Leader and Tutor for Economics and Statistics. He volunteered his time at the Care and Share Food Pantry and at the clean-up day at Waterville Country Club.
