Laflin garners NAC weekly women's hoops accolades
FARMINGTON -- Sophomore forward Caitlyn Laflin (Farmingdale, ME) was named the North Atlantic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week as announced by the conference today.
Laflin scored 27 points, grabbed seven rebounds, blocked a shot and made three steals in the Beavers' 77-68 loss at Colby College on Tuesday.
This is the third time this season that Laflin has been honored by the NAC. As of Monday, Laflin leads the NAC in scoring average at 19.1 points per game and is third in rebounding with 8.0 boards per contest.
The Beavers (8-10) are scheduled to return to action this weekend with NAC contests at Lesley on Friday and at Wheelock on Saturday.
