Busque receives rookie honors

FARMINGTON -- Freshman guard Ashley Busque (Belgrade, ME) was honored as the North Atlantic Conference Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference today.

Busque scored 12 points with six boards and a pair of steals in the Beavers' 76-72 loss to conference foe Husson College last Monday.

Farmington (3-5) is off for the holiday break. The Beavers are scheduled to return to action on Jan. 6 when they visit Bates College for a 2 p.m. contest.
