WATERVILLE -- The University of Maine at Farmington women's volleyball team closed out its regular season with a 3-1 (20-25, 25-12, 25-23, 25-17) non-conference victory over Thomas College tonight.
The Beavers (9-10) are seeded fourth in the upcoming North Atlantic Conference Tournament and are scheduled to host No. 5 Green Mountain College (10-11) in a quarterfinal match Saturday at 11 a.m. in Dearborn Gymnasium. The Terriers finished their season at 7-16.
Emily Beebe (South Paris, ME) notched 10 kills and 10 digs to lead Farmington with Amanda Mullane (Melrose, MA) supplying nine kills and Jenna Rowan (Kittery, ME) eight kills. Katie Allen (Bucksport, ME) provided eight assists and seven digs in the win with Caitlin Flaherty (Plymouth, MA) adding four service aces and six digs and Whitney Walls (Bar Harbor, ME) five assists and six digs.
