FARMINGTON -- St. Joseph's College blanked the University of Maine at Farmington 3-0 (25-18, 25-18, 25-21) in non-conference women's volleyball action tonight at Dearborn Gymnasium

The Beavers (4-5) are scheduled to visit Bates College for another non-conference match Saturday, while the Monks (11-5) are scheduled to take on Albertus Magnus and Emmanuel at Albertus Magnus on Sunday.

Jenna Rowan (Kittery, ME) led the Beavers with nine kills and 10 digs, while Shannon Mitchell (Portsmouth, NH) collected nine digs and five total blocks (two solo, three assists) and Katie Allen (Bucksport, ME) had 18 assists.

Sarah Hawkes (Pownal, ME) turned in a tremendous night for the Monks with 12 kills and only two errors in 23 attempts (.435 hitting percentage). Kiah Begley (Berwick, ME) doled out 25 assists and made 12 digs and Caitlin Cleary (Scarborough, ME) had eight kills and 12 digs.
