POULTNEY, Vt. -- The University of Maine at Farmington women's volleyball team downed Green Mountain College 3-2 (17-25, 25-17, 20-25, 25-17, 15-10), but fell to Castleton State College 3-2 (25-11, 25-22, 23-25, 20-25, 15-10) in North Atlantic Conference action today at the Eagle Dome.

The Beavers (6-7 overall, 4-1 in the NAC) are scheduled visit Unity College Tuesday. The match is tabbed for a 7 p.m. start.

Versus Green Mountain, Caitlin Flaherty (Plymouth, MA) accumulated 40 digs and Shannon Mitchell (Portsmouth, NH) notched 18 kills and 19 digs as the Beavers earned the victory.

Versus Castleton, Mitchell struck for 12 kills and 24 digs and Jenna Rowan (Kittery, ME) added 10 kills in the loss.
