LEWISTON -- The University of Maine at Farmington women's volleyball team fell to Bates College 3-0 (25-11, 25-14, 25-13) in non-conference action today.

The Beavers (4-6) are scheduled to Thomas College in North Atlantic Conference action on Wednesday.

Shannon Mitchell (Portsmouth, NH) led Farmington with eight digs and three total blocks, while Emily Beebe (South Paris, ME) scored a team-best three kills and Jenna Rowan (Kittery, ME) added seven digs and a pair of blocks.

The Beavers struggled at the net with a -.098 hitting percentage (seven kills, 13 errors in 61 attempts).
