O'Brien receives NAC honors
FARMINGTON -- University of Maine at Farmington senior Danielle O'Brien (Calais, ME) was named the North Atlantic Conference Women's Volleyball Player of the Week as announced by the conference today.
Despite a 3-1 week for the Beavers, O'Brien opened strong with 35 kills and six errors in 79 attempts for a .367 hitting average. O'Brien collected 13 kills with eight digs in a 3-2 win over NAC preseason favorite Husson on Saturday.
