Women's volleyball splits at Husson
BANGOR -- The University of Maine at Farmington women's volleyball split a pair of matches at Husson University today as the Beavers downed the University of Maine at Presque Isle 3-2 (17-25,25-23,25-22,21-25,15-5), but fell to the hosts 3-0 (25-19, 25-20, 25-20).
Against UMPI, Jenna Rowan (Kittery, ME) led the Beavers with 22 kills and 26 digs, while Danielle O'Brien (Calais, ME) chipped in 12 kills and 13 digs and Caitlin Flaherty (Pembroke, MA) recorded 25 digs. Katie Allen (Bucksport, ME) doled out 26 assists in the win.
Against Husson, Shannon Mitchell (Portsmouth, NH) paced Farmington with nine kills with Flaherty, O'Brien and Rowan each registering nine digs.
