Women's volleyball shuts out Thomas
WATERVILLE -- The University of Maine at Farmington women's volleyball team ran its record to 3-6 with a 3-0 win at Thomas College. Game scores went 30-19, 30-19, 30-22.
The Beavers are scheduled to visit Castleton on Saturday. UMF is tabbed to take on the hosts at 1 p.m. and Lesley at 3 p.m.
Versus Thomas, Meagan Dube (Lewiston, Maine) led the way with 13 kills with Danielle O'Brien (Calais, Maine) chipping in eight kills and three blocks. The Beavers registered 21 service aces with Caitlin Flaherty (Pembroke, Mass.) collecting six and Dube and Katie Allen (Bucksport, Maine) each recording four.
