Dube earns tournament honors
WATERVILLE -- University of Maine at Farmington women's volleyball player Meagan Dube (Lewiston, ME) earned All-Tournament Team honors at the Colby Invitational on Saturday.
The Beavers (0-5) fell to Gordon 3-0 (30-10, 30-17, 30-11) and Colby 3-0 (30-7, 30-12, 30-28) on Saturday. Gordon won the two-day event with a 4-0 record. UMF is scheduled to host Unity on Tuesday at Dearborn Gymnasium.
On Friday, Dube notched seven kills against Husson and registered 11 kills versus Maine Maritime Academy.
On Saturday, Caitlin Flaherty (Pembroke, MA) recorded six digs and Katie Allen (Bucksport, ME) recorded seven assists against Gordon, while Jessica Whittaker (Calais, ME) made six digs and Flaherty five against Colby and Amy Boardman (York, ME) had three kills and three digs.
