Women's volleyball drops two at Colby
WATERVILLE -- The University of Maine at Farmington women's volleyball team fell to Husson 3-0 (30-26, 30-16, 30-18) and Maine Maritime Academy 3-2 (30-23, 20-30, 30-17, 13-30, 15-11) at the Colby Invitational on Friday.
The Beavers slipped to 0-3 and are scheduled to compete at the Colby Invitational today with matches against Gordon (1 p.m.) and Colby (3 p.m.).
Against Husson, Meagan Dube (Lewiston, ME) notched seven kills with Danielle O' Brien (Calais, ME) recording five kills and four blocks.
Against Maine Maritime, Dube scored 11 kills and served four aces with Amy Boardman (York, ME) collecting eight service aces, eight digs and five kills and Jenna Rowan (Kittery, ME) registering seven kills and 10 digs.
