Men's basketball slips at Lyndon St.
LYNDONVILLE, Vt. -- The University of Maine at Farmington men's basketball team suffered an 87-71 setback to Lyndon State College in North Atlantic Conference competition tonight.
The Beavers slipped to 11-11 overall and 9-4 in the NAC. Farmington is scheduled to close out its regular season Saturday at Johnson State College (men at 2 p.m., women to follow. The Hornets improved to 10-13 (5-8).
Eric Taylor (Oakland, ME) led the Beavers with 24 points and 11 boards, while Josh Tanguay (Gorham, ME) scored 17 points and grabbed 11 caroms and Eric Lelansky (Portland, ME) pitched in 14 points.
