Waltz earns NAC Rookie of the Week
FARMINGTON -- University of Maine at Farmington freshman Nick Waltz (Damariscotta, ME) was named the North Atlantic Conference Golf Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference today.
Waltz fired an 81 at the USM Fall Classic and teamed with Douglas Jennings (Hallowell, ME) for a two-man 73 at the USM Fall Cup.
The Beavers are scheduled to return to action this weekend at the North Atlantic Conference Championships at Rutland Country Club.
